Scope and Contents

This series contains correspondence, scientific collecting permits, and other materials related to museum collecting expeditions, primarily those for the collection of animals and foreground material for the construction of the Museum's habitat groups. It includes an African Mammal Hall catalog, diorama enhancement project planning materials, and an autobiography of background painter Hanson Puthuff.
